I'd recommend you go ... I skipped my college grad and wish I would have gone :(

i went so that my family could see me walk. if they hadn't been able to come, i wouldn't have walked.

My mom didn't go to her graduation ceremony; since I went to the same college as she did, I pulled precedence and said that I'm not going either.

Lots of people are forgetting that going to graduation is not for yourself, but for your family.

In life, you do things for your family even if you don't like doing it, suck it up and go, don't be a selfish prick.

I sure as hell don't want to. Didn't go to my HS one, but suggested I'm not going to college one and people got bitchy. Don't much care for the people in my huge class, not exactly all that proud of my scool or my stepping stone degree equals me not caring.

I felt the same way, didn't see the point in going to the ceremony, they mail you the diploma anyways...

I didnt go to my college graduation. I went out and celebrated with some family and friends instead. Was a much better time than sitting in a room being bored as hell for 4 hours.
