I guess we won't know until someone who owns Crackdown comments.
I think there may be some of "sign up" process, but I'm not sure if it has occurred yet (it may occur when the beta is released.)

You need the disc, like I said.
I own Crackdown.

Yes, unless Microsoft supplied all the rental stores with altered copies of the game (which is HIGHLY unlikely). There are no codes to deal with. When you boot to the main menu of Crackdown, there is a special menu to access the Halo 3 beta. You can only download the beta from this menu, and more importantly, you can only launch the beta from this menu. So if you have the game disc, you have the beta.Originally posted by: Tizyler
So if I rent it from BB, then I can play until I return, correct?Originally posted by: Aikouka

Most wood (especially veneered like that probably is) will sag in the middle over time if not properly supported, no matter the weight on it.Originally posted by: Izusaga
Are those games seriously heavy enough to warp the wood like that?Originally posted by: Aikouka

I had the same idea in mind. I rented Crackdown with the intention of playing the Halo 3 beta.
According to Halo3.com, it was supposed to be released at 5am, PST. It is now 1pm PST and I have not been able to download the beta. The "Download Halo 3 Multiplayer Beta" is still unavailable. So, who knows what's up. I'm wondering if ANYONE has been able to play it yet?
