funny you should mention this. I hail from central NY, where everyone calls it soda. I just enrolled in SUNY Brockport, which in Western NY, and everyone here calls it pop. It's very weird.

Depends who I'm talking too. I still cannot refer to any carbonated beverage as 'coke' though.

Soda. Pop is already used for so many things. Soda is only used when referring to "baking soda," so that's not a big deal.

Pop, Oregon/Washington.

Sodapop is also acceptible, albeit a bit old-fashioned, but soda just doesn't sound right.
