In that case I'll just dig up my old Freezer 7 Pro and try that out rather than spend money.

You really don't read very well, do you? No-where in this thread, has anyone said that S1155 is the same as S775. Why? Because they aren't. However, S1150 is the same as S1155, as far as mounting hardware goes. Which, for some reason you won't believe, but you are willing to believe that S775 is the same as S1155, for some dumb reason?

Yep, LGA115x shares mounting holes and coolers. LGA775 however, totally different.

Yea this is true, but some ASrock boards had an extra option for 775 heatsink on 1156 and 1155 socket.
