"D'oh Mr. Rollo I am an A+ box jockey screwing down motherboards! I am well qualified to disrespect the most successful GPU engineering firm on the planet- I passed the A+ cert!"
LMAO
Why are people still complaining? They have both types of benchmarks so the argument over which way is better is now moot. You n00bs being forcefed numbers so long that when someone tries to change your food you get suspicous. I been infatuated with the hardware scene since my first card (TNT2) And I have seen hardocp change from being nvidia "fanboys" to ati "fanboys and every person tha tbrought this point up is right.
All these comments are welcome and I learned a lot from them all ... even the stupid ones. The reason why I say this is because reality isn't as important as percieved reality. Why people believe is true is what is going to affect their pockets. And this "percieved reality" is being distorted more because now video cards are gettin much more advanced and you cant use the same old methods to compare them. I will admit I'm nvidia brand loyal as i have only used nvidia cards right up to my current Ti4200. But as a person who refuses to pay over $210 for a video card, I'm thinkin about gettin the radeon 9800 pro and jumping ships.
Hardocp i think is doin a fine job and I hope they continue to change the hardware scene in the positive light they seem to be doing now. PLus this is a stupid thread but thats just a testament to its popularity. It's natural human behavior to oppose change and in the "hood" we got a word for that.... HATERS.
My grain of salt, do whatever you wish with it
