where did he get them for free?

drug reps give them out hoping your patients will like the product, and in turn you will prescribe more. and get them more money

My dad also gets those medications from the drug companies, plus a lot of useless trinkets. He brings home some for us if we need any but mainly he gives them to patients. He says that sometimes he will give a person $100 worth of the samples. However, the next time they come in, he asks if they took them but often they say they didn't.

I am pretty sure its illegal to sell the free drugs the drug reps give away. They usually say "not for resale" or something like that on them.

Yeah, and besides, any "profit" you made from selling them would probably be offset by the cost of listing them on eBay, shipping, etc. Might as well just stand on the street corner and sell them. ;)

Most of them that drug companies give out for free have a label saying that they are not for resale. Plus, it just takes one person to get sick and your father will get his pants sued off.

Don't the samples have labels on them saying that they are illegal to be sold or am I thinking of something else?
