If not, then STFU. Casinos are a vice like any other, and who are you to fault the indians for making a little cash on a business that they can monopolize the (local to you) market on?

the one thing that is scarier than indian casinos is that states are starting to push for more casinos to raise revenue

i say more power to them...they made about 6K offa me before i kicked the gambling habit(havent been back in over a year)...if people are gonna go spend their money why shouldnt they be there to take it? now granted i dont think its fair that only the indians are getting in on this...what if they legalized pot and said only mexicans could sell it? or whatever race, for that matter...before someone screams racist at me...

I've been to two casinos, both were Indian casinos. They weren't bad. My job used to have me do an overnight near Mohegan Sun, was nice to go there and waste 20 - 30 dollars gambling. I don't see the harm in Indian casinos. If they want to build them, let them.

causeing crime is not the issue. freedom itself causes crime but that is not a valid reason to outlaw freedom. anyway, my issue with indians and casinos is that indians can have casinos in areas where non-indians cannot. this is unfair and i believe is violates the right that all men(people) are created equal, because they have advantages because of birth race and the disadvantage of predjudice is bullsh*t as their race gets them specific oportunities and college funding and small business funding etc etc. i just happen to be a white minority and im pissed that i can't get a small business loan but an indian can get twice the money im looking for without a problem. AND he can open a casino with it.

Look up the statistics of native americans. They are pretty bleek, much much worse than blacks or hispanics. Most are the poorest of the poor. What whites did to indians was far far far worse than what whites have done to blacks.

Both ongoing separatism (reservations) and a feeling of entitlement only perpuate a sense of victimization that reinforces the cycle. Current injustices will not be solved by isolation and self-pity.

Neither will crying over what happened to your ancestors. You have to live your own life.
