ever....i watched him on greta van susterins show earlier...she asked him what he would do to fix the government...his reply was to fire every liberal in government then he literally got red with rage and went on a 10 minute rant blaming everything from fast and furious to illegal immigration on liberal idealogy...good lord how can anyone take this man seriously...remember when he got busted for writing scripts for oxycontin....i really dont like that guy...and he wants druggies locked up when hes obviously one himself...what a duechelord.
 
I took him seriously back in the mid-90's. After a couple years his schtick got old, I got more educated, and I stopped watching him. Dude lives to be outraged, his audience loves the outrage. Emo junkies all.
 
It's an act. He found out "Hey...listeners on AM radio between the ages of 50 and 70 like me like this, so I play on it!"
 
I suspect much of it is an act. Plenty of people like it though and he makes good money so what's the harm. No worse than a great many people in D.C. who do cause us great harm.
 
I'm pretty sure I haven't seen any political pundit that I liked. When someone starts stating their opinion in the same tone of voice that I'm used to hearing when someone is stating facts, I automatically dislike them. This usually causes me to have a lot of problems with politicians and religious people.
 
Just take a look at him. I doubt they allow eating on any sort of television program while you are working.

He's just raged because he's hungry and has to wait for the show to end to get back at the trough.
 
how much money do you think i can make being a nice person on TV?

politics is like the WWF or WWE or whatever it's called now. on TV they will play up their fights but in the end most of the politicians are friends and hang out together
 
Adam Carolla is similar, but without an agenda and his positions are fact-specific, not liberal or conservative.

It wouldn't matter who it is. Anytime you have a pundit who discusses religion or politics, you get the same results as you do if you make a thread about such. Those 2 topics seem to trigger more emotion out of individuals than any other topic.

If i were to say Obahma is great or Jesus was just an ordinary guy hyped up by writers, not only would i see agreer's and haters, but a whole slew of emotional responses ranging from name calling to various analogies in attempts to say their right and i'm wrong.

all of which i find amusingly childish. But its only natural to see various opinions about a guy like Rush. I did find he has been right about Obahma on a few things for years.
 
He never struck me as angry, although I haven't listened to him since probably 2004. Just a silly middle aged apologist. Michael Savage, on the other hand...
 
He strikes me as more sarcastic. Beck is pretty angry, and I can't handle more than 5 seconds of Hannity. At least Limbaugh and Beck have some entertainment value. Hannity is just painful. Who is that MSNBC guy who has the "Worst person in the world"? He seems really angry all of the time.
