NBC in alhambra is 1.90 per plate. except for the shrimp cheung fun, i felt shafted when they charged 3.10 per plate. before i used to go to seaworld in rosemead (before they shut down) and cheung fun was among their "A" items and only 1.68 a plate.
No, Phoenix definitely doesn't seem to have any kind of consolidated ethnic neighborhoods unless you consider neighborhoods that are predominantly Mexican or something. I've looked around at Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, and Japanese restaurants, and their locations are very random and spread out. This is probably why the prices (and sometimes food quality) are not all that spectacular. The dim sum today was decent, but no where near mind blowing like I've found in places like Chicago, NYC, and lots of parts of California.
