"Like all birds of prey Red-tailed hawks are protected by state and federal laws. But despite this some are killed by unethical hunters, and farmers that feel they are protecting chicken livestock"
We have them here. My only concern is that they might swoop down and snatch one of the little rat dogs that aren't any bigger than a rabbit...THAT would piss me off...

heh, neighbor had a hawk swoop down and snatch his cat off the patio. He dropped him about 20 yards away. Needless to say the cat is very nervous when he goes outside now, checking all around for any hawks.
I've got a pretty big hawk nearby. They're awesome creatures. Never had a problem with rodents.
I would personally like to have on around my house.
Tiny little birds shit all over the place including the car. Having one or two of these around will definitely get rid of that issue.

There's this large hawk (possibly a red-tailed hawk) that likes to hunt other birds (doves, cardinals, and robins in particular). I've seen him tearing about his prey numerous times, and not once was the prey a rodent. Just this morning he quite violently slammed his prey (a dove) into the side of the house, leaving behind a splattering of blood. To make a long story short, I have grown to hate this hawk and I want to kill it.

ALL raptors are covered by The Federal Wildlife Protection Act.
Do it and it's a good way to see the working of the Federal Penile System.
Don't be hatin' on the hawk. He's doing his job to keep the balance.
Without supreme predators, there would be no "normal".

Just say the hawk flew into your bullet, not that you shot it.
