I believe anything taken as a powder would get in the system quicker, so if that makes it more effective...

Honestly, this is the wrong forum for you question. Instead of asking a forum dedicated to computers and full of computers geeks you should try www.bodybuilding.com or something like that

I can get 1 lb of Precision Engineered glutamine powder for about $25.

Anyone know where I can get glutamine cheaper?

I'm self-treating for osteo-arthritis in my neck from a 20 year old weight lifting injury.

Nutrition for Muscle and Joint Health

The protocol recommends 2 - 6 grams a day away from meals. I'm going to do 2 x 2 gram doses per day.

Sound okay?

I ended up getting 1 lb of Precision Engineered glutamine for $23 at Vitamin World.

effect is the same. powder gets in the system faster, but for that it doesn't matter.

I've read reports how ineffective glutamine is. I can't name specifics or the exact article (it was over at bodybuilding.com). But yeah, I actually stopped taking it about a year ago and have not noticed any ill effects.

Protein+Creatine+plus a fantastic diet.
