My contract is up w/ AT&T and I'm not sure where to go right now. My phone now is working fine and is solid for my uses so I'm not in a huge rush. I'm just wondering how Android has matured and if the G1 is worth looking at over one of the newer Blackberries and the likes of those.
I like the idea of having basically a 'shell' of an OS and installing whatever you want/need to have a basically personalized phone, but I'm not sure if Android really works like that. So, how is the G1 working for folks these days? Is it worth switching to T-mobile for? Are there other possibly better Android based phones on the horizon I should wait for?
