Is Fox News often this offensive?

What time slot was that on at? Looks like some late night filler programming.

Their normal prime time programming is certainly not like that. I'm not excusing their behavior by any means though. I only watched the first quarter and I found it pretty offensive. I'm not Canadian, and I'm not easily offended either so factor that in.

IMO they're way out of line. I detect no attitudes here in the States to support the crap they were spouting off.

Well, they obviously had a target audience in mind for that particular segment since the jokes do look scripted, rehearsed even. Someone wrote this crap and someone gave it the nod of approval. This was not spontaneous humour.

They air a non-news program at 3AM called The Red Eye and from what I have seen of it it is no more offensive than a myriad of other programming that can be found in the overnight hours on cable.
 
You'd never see this stuff on CBC Newsworld even at 3am. In fact, even the conservative CTV Newsnet would never air such dribble.
 
Meh, even I've seen that program before. Considering the time slot, I'm willing to give FOX a pass on this one. At least we know not to take that program seriously. It is better than trying to fill every hour they have with more repeat...

I'm not outraged, but what is it doing on a news network then? I think that is at least a fair question.

In truth, 24 hour "news" networks are all garbage.
