Yeah, I don't see what the big deal is. I've seen Jon Stewart do far worse.

Stewart is at least funny. These guys remind me of your typical ATOTer, the douchbaggery is strong in them.

More to the point, Stewart hosts a comedy show on a network called "Comedy Central." He has never claimed that it's an actual news show and doesn't try to run it like one. To compare a show on "Comedy Central" to a show on a network that calls itself "Fox News Channel" and that, further, claims to be a "fair and balanced" answer to other, supposedly biased channels, is pretty pathetic.

In any case, I didn't find it "offensive" so much as lame.

I found this video offensive to the extreme because I assume those bozos would have a clue as to the canadian contribution in afghanistan. Either way the video was featured as one of the main news article on the CBC last nigh and it makes all americans look like a bunch of ass hole.

I did not watch the clip. I did read the entire thread.

Some people are saying that it's comedy or parody and, after all, it's on at 3 a.m. Others say that to put such a show on a "News" network is pretty questionable. It has been said that with a quasi-infotainment show like John Stewart, as least he's on a "Comedy" network.

I posit this: Is this "parody" program on a "news" network at 3 a.m. any worse than Cramer on a news network at 3 p.m.?

He recently got taken behind the woodshed by the comedy show. His show on CNN is like "Weenie and the Butt" or any 'wacky FM DJ' show on NPR,
