Costco's are the cheapest I could find too. I used to buy the Walmart "Spring Valley" ones. Those are about the same price as the Costco's but only 250-300 caps. Never had any fish burps, but I always take them with food, which you should anyway. Besides, Costco's are USP certified and have some purity guarantee if you look at the label.

I bought the ones from GNC that are large and high potency, seemed to work well
Except I have a very hard time swallowing them, and choked on one and actually puked it up. Thats not good. Since it almost caused me to die, im going to say not healthy for me.

I would recommend using Twinlab Fish Oil in a bottle, the daily dose needed in caps would consist of taking 10+ capsules daily. Great supplement for liver health and overall healthy cell growth.

I remember talking to my sister-in-law about taking a lot of pills and she dropped a remark about how she doesn't have trouble downing gobs of pills in one swallow (with water, of course). Just an hour ago I dropped all the following in one swallow:

1 BIG fish oil, enteric coated from Costco.
1 calcium/vitamin D
1 multivitamin
1 vitamin C, 1000 mg
1 baby aspirin
1 iron pill (Costco)
3 glucosamine/Chondroitin tablets

Cheers!

Carlson's Liquid Fish Oil has a pleasant lemon taste with no fishy odor or fishy taste.

I've used it for years.

The stuff works.

There is some low quality supplements out there, fish oil included.

Carlson is up there in quality.

Give it a shot.

Edit: Vitacost has great prices on supplements and carry mostly quality brands.
