"Meaty tomato": a tomato that has the bulk, density, and feel of meat. "Meaty" is the adjective, "tomato" is the noun.
"having wood": a euphemism for an erection. "Having" is the verb, "wood" is the noun. But we've already established that it's a euphemism, so of course the noun should not be taken literally.

Makes sense to me. It's like the word "earth". On one hand, it means the planet we are on, but it also specifically means "dirt", as opposed to water, even though most of the planet is covered with water.
