Is eating 100 cookes as bad as 20?

After you eat a certain amount of food (e.g. 20 cookies or 1 pizza), does it matter how much more you eat in the same sitting?

I mean, are you going to really absorb those extra 5000 calories and get that much fatter? There has to be a point of "screw it" that makes your body ignore the extra fat...

as suggested: anything over critical mass comes out as poop

If you eat 100 cookies, you're sure to go into a diabetic coma.

ill put it this way

you don't get 5 times more tired if you run 5 miles instead of 1! you don't understand anything about metabolism or digestion or both :)

okay i don't know how old you are... but remember calories in - calories out.

if you take in 5000 calories a day but only burn 2000 that's 3000 extra stored a day. that's almost a pound a day.

I ate this many during a contest and I can tell you that the nutrition aspect of it is not going to be your primary concern after doing it.

i think his theory is after you hit a certain critical mass, your body will just pass the rest of your intake as poop, that it won't simply store everything.

do you have any... what do they call it.. scientific information or data to back up what you are saying? otherwise you look like a complete idiot. if this were true, americans wouldn't be overweight right now. our portions are incredibly out of... proportion.

YOU CAN'T SH!T OUT A PURE COOKIE, it gets digested. you can't just eat a hamburger and then it comes out the other end between two buns with ketchup and mayo.

I'm not going to look this up, but based on my experience, after eating that many cookies, they come out a lot less digested than if spread out over several days.

i wouldn't doubt that (to see a little change) but i seriously doubt it has no affect on the body.

I would totally agree that there's certaily a difference between 20 and 100, but I think you're getting into diminishing returns based on the body's ability to intake that much stuff at one time.

( So I guess the answer would be somewhere worse than no effect and less than 5 times as bad, but not sure where in the middle ;) )

how would you even be able to hold 100 cookies without getting sick or feeling absolutely awful?
