eating all your halloween candy in short period of time is better for you than eating it over a spread out amount of time. the reason is because your body doesn't absorb it all when you eat it all in a short amount of time because it's bombarded already. also, it doesn't put you in a habit of eating stuff that's bad for you.

edit: but if you do continue doing it, your body adapts and starts absorbing everything and you end up getting fat, diabetes, pancreatic cancer, etc.

YOU CAN'T SH!T OUT A PURE COOKIE, it gets digested. you can't just eat a hamburger and then it comes out the other end between two buns with ketchup and mayo.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

God you made my night. Now back to studying... hahahaha awesome.

I would think this question would be easy. I havn't got an answer I read somewhere, but I am assuming your body can only process say X amount of food per hour. It takes 12 hours (made up numbers) to process food through the entire digestive track.

Say you eat 20X amount. That would leave you with 8x at the end of the digestive track. You are not gonna crap out full food, it will still be the form of feces, but the nutrient I would assume would not have been consumed.

you don't get 5 times more tired if you run 5 miles instead of 1! you don't understand anything about metabolism or digestion or both :)

okay i don't know how old you are... but remember calories in - calories out.

if you take in 5000 calories a day but only burn 2000 that's 3000 extra stored a day. that's almost a pound a day.

i think his theory is after you hit a certain critical mass, your body will just pass the rest of your intake as poop, that it won't simply store everything.

That's what I think!!!

Ok... then if you were right those people that eat 37 hot dogs in one sitting on daily basis shouldnt weigh 800 lbs.................

You must also be the kind of person that thinks it's your body's fault your fat and not the fact that you sit on your arse all day playing video games instead of working out every now and then. You know it really is good for you to increase your heart rate for prolonged periods to burn some extra calories.

There must be some magical pill these people can take to get skinny!

I crapped a complete taco last night after eating 8 of them. Seriously, a complete, intact taco. Just went straight through me. I later identified it as the 8th taco I ate. So yes, the critical number is 8 tacos.

No, it's not nearly as bad. After 20, the cookies turn into anti-cookies, and automatically dissolve what you've already eaten. That's the secret of those really skinny people who eat a lot...by eating a bunch at one sitting, instead of constantly snacking like the fat people, the anti-food actually decreases their body mass at every meal.

I can't remember if that was in 5 mintues or 10 minutes now. I would have to assume it was 10 minutes or I would have died ;)

Heh....how long did it take you to "come down" off of that sugar high? And...what did you drink with it? If it was milk......I hope you brought your own cow.;)

All I remember is having a horrible time trying to sleep that night after deciding not to go and throw them up like many other contestants did.

I woke up in the middle of the night to the massive urge to sit up or I'd soon me drowning to death in oreo mush. After walking around for about an hour I was able to get settled again.

I eventually experienced something along the lines of the "critical mass" phenomenon (and it was pretty gross with the cookies being black and white)

I have not eaten an oreo in cookie form since then, and that was March 2003

We were allowed either milk or water, I chose milk and soaked one cookie while eating and then started eating the soaked one and soaked a new one.... then repeat until 10 mintues are up :p

Did you drink the milk when you were done? That would've been some MAJORLY concentrated chocolate milk!

Yeah, I drank some. I don't know how much I used in the end. Maybe two glasses total?

It's kind of a blur.

The 58? oreos = about a pack and a row. I was under the impression (due to being directly told so) that someone was right behind me and I needed to eat as many as I possibly could. Turns out that nobody else even finished a single pack with most only eating a row or less :|

It's alright, if they're all fat and incapable of fleeing thanks to an all cookie diet, we can strike sooner and quicker.
