Is drinking red wine everyday bad?

Ask the europeans. Most spaniards, for example begin drinking wine at a young age, and most drink a glass (or bottle) a day (usually with dinner). In the summertime they mix fruits with the wine and make sangria. Of course it may be that many grapes are grown here, or the fact that wine is super cheap. Seems like everyone here leads a healthy life....
