Dave:
Minneapolis - Guess your across the river from St. Paul (Twin Cities). Ever been to the Peppermint Lounge where Cubby Checker made it famous back in the early 60's - I did around 1971 but it was boarded up - So was the whole block for that matter and being prepared for demolition.
What's the name of that ARC over what river river (Mississippi)? I'm Canadian so forgive my ignorance - Lots of Colored Folks and Harya Christyna in orange robs. I was Photographer, Primarily a Piano Player and Guitarist's back then and had a great time in your town - Loved the Music and the People - Lots of Booze and Drugs - I was 22 at the time - Can you believe I flew in there on a brand new Boeing 727 and I was the only passenger on board riding with a Dead Head Crew and that's when the party started - Ever hit 40,000 ft by the end of the runway with a beautiful Stewardess buckled in beside you. Long time before DDR2 and I still got a few 1MB Ram sticks laying around.
We where all drunk and young, somebody had to land the plane - Thank GOD we had faith in our Inebriated Pilot. This thing had Auto-Pilot. I think it was a Pan AM Flight. Flew a lot back then with expenses paid by my employer - Chromalex
Made a lot of money and partied hard in the 60's and early 70's. Believe it or not I'm respectively well educated with a University BSC Degree in Math, Nuclear Physics some Chemistry and a History Buff. Maybe that's why I'm a NERD.
Personal rides were a 68 Volvo 123SS, Challenger 340 Mag RS, 70 Z28 Camaro and I still ride my 71 Breganzie Laverda 750SF. Too many Volvo's, Jeeps, Leyland's, Triumph's, Norton's and Harley's ... etc - Wonderful wife (Whom I separated from) and raised 6 beautiful children.
Now I'm old and in the poor house - Where Does Time Go! - I've never used DDR2 or had the need to use it - LOL
