Is Chipotle really all that?

I have never been there or seen one, but I have never seen a restaurant with so many sack riders/cheerleaders in my life. I have seen countless people on different message boards talking about this place. Is it really that damn good or is another trendy place like Starbuck's etc?

I place it at the bottom of the chain burrito joints. Moes is at the top because of the number and variety of toppings you get. Then Qdoba, then Chipolte. IIRC at chipolte you can choose your type of beans and get salsa on top and thats about it.

Although they do leave lots of tabasco bottles laying around and I know college students who see this as "free bottle of tabasco with burrito", which is actually a decent value.

I've never been to a Qdoba, but Chipotle is better than Moe's IMO.
 
the very first time i went there i ordered a burrito and they wouldn't let me have beans. so i didn't go there again for years.
 
I've eaten at Chipotle regularly for the last 2 years. What they lack in variety, they more than make up for in taste. Beats the living sh!t out of California Tortilla or Santa Fe Mexican grill, and it's pretty healthy to boot. Plus 1 Burrito will keep me going for 4 hours at least. All for ~$6

Pretty sweet IMO.

its alright. id much rather save money and get a more authentic burrito from a local taco shop. plus charging extra for the amount of guacomole you get is ridiculous.

That's 3300 mg Sodium (150% DV), 37g fat, 1050 calories (42% DV). Thankfully you didn't put cheese on there.
 
It's tolerable for a beloved patriot-oriented place, but you're much better off going to an actual Mexican place.
