<< I think the idiots here deserve the price hike because they're dumb enough to vote of Gore. >>

Yeah right. Insect headed fools like you would think that wouldn't you? If it's anything, the RatpubliKlans are trying to hurt Davis for making Bush his saturday afternoon bitch and in turn making him a leading candidate to wipe the floor with Bush in the 2004 Election.

How popular do you think Davis will be if the energy issues persist?
I don't think Bush has a thing to worry about in California. I don't think Bush cares about the idiots here in California. Davis and the rest of his dumbascrates can play the word game saying Bush did this, Bush refused that, blah blah yada yada. You know what? It doesn't matter. The rest of the nation does not care about the morons here in CA? If Davis can't resolve the power issue, he's the one who will find a rope tied around his neck.

How popular do you think Bush will be if this persists longer. Davis has done everything he could, and Bush hasn't done jack.
Imagine if in four years everyone is still talking about energy problems in CA, and the Energy Boy Bush is standing by idly. If the energy insiders can't help the country with energy, what's their use?

I also believe Davis will get reelected here, because he can always blame it on the Bushies. It's easy to blame texas oil millionaires here in CA.
In addition, the Dems will raise a lot of money in CA with Bush in the White House.
Anyways, Bush is making a great mistake. He is a divisor, not a uniter. I would venture to say that he is one of the most divisive presidents we ever had, at the time when we really need someone to unite the country here.
Not only is he dividing us with our European allies, but he is also splitting this country.

How Popular do you think he'll be when we beat this thing and come out better than what was predicted? We already have the Energy Generators backing down from their price gouging and it looks like we might not be hit to hard with rolling blackouts. I think Davis is going to come out looking like the Man who kicked sand in the faces of Bush and his Energy Butt Brothers.

Bush is already taking a beating in the Polls like a Texas Bride on her Wedding Night over this energy issue.

Bush does not care how popular he is in California. It's all about payback. Seeing CA is buying power from outside the state, Bush is just getting more popular everywhere else.

You think the millions of idiots here in CA will sit down and try to figure out who is responsible or who is right or wrong? Come election time, the only thing people here will remember is how badly things suck now and who was in charge. Many will point their finger at Bush, but many will also point their fingers at Davis.

You have to remember how narrowly Bush won, and that's with the whole Monica mess. Next election won't be about Monica, but it will be about restoring dignity and integrity to the whitehouse.

it seems like every election is about that, and yet no one succeeds. one day one president will actually do it, and no one will know what platform to run on in the next election.

As far as Bush is concern, the entire state of California can vote against him.

You have to remember that a lot of Californians will not vote for a Republican after the whole Pete Wilson mess. Bush has done nothing but try and screw CA, and Davis will win because he is anti-Bush. I find it hard to believe that a Republican can win in CA by supporting the Bush record regarding our state. All Davis has to do is make this about Bush.

They will ask Bush if he has some new talking points. You don't really think that 8 year old asian-bashing rumors are going to get Bush elected?

Bush owes a lot to California. His father road the coattails of Reagan, and Bush Jr. rode the coattails of his father. Even the Republicans in California are not pleased with Bush's handling of California. With McCain considering leaving, Jeffords already gone, and the situation in California, Bush is losing the moderates in droves. It will be interesting to see the long-term political damage Bush is causing to the Republican party. Bush has some smart people behind him, he knows the economic and political consequences of screwing California, even if some more naive Republicans don't.

<< Bush don't give a damn about California. >>

So he figures that he'll be able to get his Brother Jeb to pull the same strings he did in the last election to win? What about all the Republican Congressional seats here in CA? He "don't give a damn" about them either? I think you are being extremely ignorant there SC.

Cyrix, you are in CA (according to profile), so I don't know why you hate CA so much.
I don't care much for Bush either, I hope the senate stalls and roadblocks his everymove. He has done enough damage already.

Because so little people here has a clue of what's really going on.
You guys don't have to believe me, but it's true, Bush don't care about California. It's the George Bush revenge tour 2000.

<< You're such a fool. CA Economy is so huge he has to care. >>

From my persepective, you and everybody else who don't have a clue of what's going on are the..I won't degrade myself to name calling like you.

You guys really think we're going to beat this thing by signing a few papers here and there? You really think Davis is doing anything to solve the long term problems? Yeah, put a cap on prices, drive more providers out of business.

How many Generators have Davis built?
What do you think is going to power those generators? Yeah, they're against drilling in Alaska and yet they want to take credit when those generators goes online.

Do I hate California? No. But I do find it annoying that the people here 99.999% of which have no idea what's going on are so quick to point fingers and crown saviors. Good people have been stomped on by both sides. You think Davis is that great......sure whatever.

If Bush knew math, he would care, but this is a guy who thinks Africa is a country.
Do the Math: 25 out of 52 CA representatives are Republicans.
the Republicans have 222 reps in House, dems have 214. It only takes 4 seats to switch the balance of power. Keep in mind that CA will be redrawing congressional districts under Gray Davis leadership with 2000 sensus data, and the demographic changes that are not favorable to Republicans stained with Pete Wilson's legacy here.

No, it sure doesn't.
He might not win CA in 2004, but there is certainly still a lot for Republicans to lose here, and it will make a difference in Washington.
