Yes, and don't listen to beer snobs...they eventually grow out of it.

Yeah just ignore the people that actually drink beer for the taste rather than a cheap way to get a buzz.
if you went to a party and Bud was the only keggers they had going would you go out and buy a six of Guinness and bring it back with you so you could drink better beer?

No I would probably have a glass of Bud. What does that have to do with my reply to the original quote? I have been out of college for 20 plus years now and rather than "growing out of it" I have grown into it because I now drink beer for something other than trying to get a buzz.
thanks for your reply. 🙂

Technically Budweiser is a lager. Lager is beer.

Budweiser is not among the better lagers.
In fact it's among the Bottom 1%

I'll stick with my Belgian Ales...

I love the reviews on this one.

Hehehehe .....
Budweiser is definatly not anywhere close to being "The worst" stuff out there. After all, if it was that horrible or undrinkable, nobody would buy it, no matter how cheap it was. Malt liquor is one thing I pretty much avoid. I'll take a bud (and enjoy it) way before I take that Black Label crap.

Additional opinions with no facts or supporting documentation .....
Light beer is not real beer. It just sucks.
Also, decaf coffee sucks.
Died pop sucks.

No pilsner is real beer. If it's yellow and carbonated, it's crap.

True crap has the terms Lite or Ice in the title somewhere.

No no, if it has Lite or Ice in the title it's imitation crap. Wanna be crap. Yellows are always crap.

Real beer is gauged by blackness. I don't drink anything that isn't at least as black as my ex-wife's soul. If it can't crawl out of the mug, up my arm, force open my mouth, and drive itself down my gullet, I'm not interested.

Believe it or not, some of us actually prefer the taste of cheap beers over expensive beers. I've tried a lot of different expensive beers, but I always go back to cheap beer for the taste.

Budweiser is sex in a can.

Smelly and uncomfortable, but it gets the job done? 😕

I tried gigapet's idea, but got a lot of stinging from the beer getting into the scrapes from the widemouth. Then I had to explain to the ER nurse that, 'Yes, I DO have a can in my pants, but I'm VERY glad to see you.' In the end, it was just too much 'pain with pleasure' for me.

I thought it was a metaphor for a portapotty, but I guess I can see it your way. I will be sending a condolence bouquet at my earliest convenience.

No matter how you put it you still can't deny that Budweiser is a widely drank beer here in the US. Of course just because everyone drinks it doesn't make it good but what that does mean is that it isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I prefer darker beer for the taste but when I'm just kicking back with the guys and we're all trying to get as fvcked up as we can we can't go wrong with Bud.

This is due to two major things. First, Budweiser is a marketing machine. They practically forcefeed their beer down your throats. Heck, I was in a bar a few weeks ago and a Budweiser promotions girl was in there and bought me a Bud Light because I was drinking something else much tastier. The average joe is going to see all the advertising and check it out. Budweiser isn't bad by any stretch, it's just there is much better out there to explore and experience.

Secondly, your average packie (can you tell where I'm from?) doesn't carry much more then the standard selection of "American" beers. Bud, Miller, Coors, Michelob, Molson (yes I know that's Canadian), Natural and all their lights, ices, dry's, etc. Your average joe shopping in the average packie doesn't have that much opportunity to try imports, microbrews, and such offerings other than the widely known stuff (Corona, Heineken, Guiness...to name a few).

It's beer, but IMO not very good beer. But since most of the beer I drink can pass for tar, stouts & porters, my opnion may be a little skewed.
