I have no idea how BB stays in business. I used to love going there to buy stuff (way back when), but now I have a couple of gift cards that I got as Christmas presents, and I simply can't find anything even remotely worth buying. They are out of stock on so much stuff, they are overpriced on lots of other stuff, their service is horrible.
I think it's just a matter of time before they go under.
This is the problem with most tech retailers. Their inventory techies really want depreciates faster than they can mark down the prices...they are also competing with wholesalers and tax-free retailers.
I will say I got stuck in a pinch and wanted to buy my parents a TV a few years ago...I didn't shop around. I just went to BB and bought the cheapest 50+" Samsung I could get...and it wasn't that far off an online price. I probably paid a $50-70 markup including tax over the lowest possible price.
