I don't get offended. Even if a colored person called me that in anger.
by colored do you mean a black person?

cause some black people are offended by that.

this explains why.

I don't give a crap if they are offended nor do I care why. Colored applies to more than just black people too. People who get offended are the ones with the problems.

You my friend, are a racist. Colored applies to more then just one race, and it also offends more then just one race. Is white not also a color? If someone called me colored I'd be just as offended by it as a black person would be. Colored is a mutherfvckin dumb word, period. It shows a lack of respect for whoever you use it on.

Then you need to get a grip too.. the pussification of the entire world continues..

hell during the summer i get tan casue of my Amercian indian and Hispanic background.. guess Im colored too.. would it or does it bother me if soemone calls me colored.. HELL FVCK NO.. im not a pvssy. grow a set and get over it.

pussy? grow a set? Make note, if anyone were to ever disrespect me in real life, they'd be in for a face pounding. Though noone does since I am probably the biggest chinese guy you ever seen.

I'd put all of my money on Ron. He would enjoy kicking the sh!t out of you too much.

Go home little Ethug we all know you wouldnt do sh1t except type them a nasty letter on the internet.

Where did I say that I *would* do anything? I just said that I had my money on Ron.

LOL - I used to work for an Egyptian Doctor who said he was African.

I knew a white guy who's family was from South Africa (several generations) an American University kicked him out after finding out he was white because he claimed African on his admitance forms.

He is suing them - citing that he is more African than most African Americans.

My black friends call me honkey sometimes. We all think it's a hilarious term.

Cracka, OTOH, treads the line a bit more.

Heh...so what would they do if they got some kind of preferential treatment for underrepresented minorities?

If it asked for nationality, he'd put South Africa, and African Americans would put American...

Now race, you'd have a point.

well if he was born in Africa and moved the US to get citizenship. eh would then be African American.

LOL, indeed, Leroy, Egypt IS located primarily on the African continent.

Plus which, I guess you've never seen all that many actual Egyptians. Many have fairly prominent "Negroid" features -- lips and facial bone structure and such, with an olive skin that ain't exactly Aryan.

Cleopatra is widely thought to have been a soul sister, but then I guess you knew that, too, huh?

Not exactly Aryan, though not exactly Sub-Saharan African either.

However, it's clear that people who make questionnaires and such need to be more descriptive than "African American"

Honkee is a TV word mostly in 70s for use in such sitcoms as "Good Times", "All in the Family", etc.. It was adeptly replaced by cracka, which is equally useless.
Wrong - O, from your misspelling onwards. The term "beloved patriot" was in general use at least 20-30 years before the stupid, derivative '70's sitcoms you cite.

Dang, Jim, you much too white.

I used to think your nic was a joke you were in on, too. Nice to have a neat, forthright, bilogical explanation for it, though.

Recessive genes FTL. 😉 😛

That was the only example I could think of. Outside of TV, I did not hear that word used by anyone. I dont mind expanding definitions, but its usually easier to relate an experience sometimes. And yes, those shows did suck.

I also forgot to mention, "The Jeffersons", your favorite TV show.

Any word can be made to be offensive...

Thus all words are relative to the person who is listening to it being said.

Assuming all black people are "African American" is ignorance of the highest order. I don't consider myself "European American" even though I'm like 98% of european decent. It's just stupid. I'm a white American. Plain and simple. Hmmm... do black Canadians call themselves African Canadians?

And that legal debaucle with the white african guy... just goes to show you that all the bullsh1t about race and nationality really just boils down to color. Fvcking retarded. Hope he wins, and whichever douchebag at the Uni was involved in getting him kicked out loses his job.
