pure (or as close to pure as you can get.. 95%) is going to be the least calories per cc of ethanol. Unless the filler is just water, then it is the same ratio, but weaker.



you need to compare calories in the amount of liquor required to get one pure ounce of alcohol, rather than calories per ounce of liquor

Caloric efficient drunkenness = Only consume calories from alcohol. Everclear has nearly 26% more alcohol by volume than 151. Rest assured you get no non alcohol derived calories.

BTW, I wouldn't recommend drinking Everclear straight. I've tasted it (when already thoroughly trashed) and it is positively wicked.

I've seen Nik do a double shot of pure Everclear, you know how he turned out.

On a side note I don't think the figure you're quoting for 151 is accurate. It simply can't be.
