Seriously, dudes.

"Histrionic" is a pretty common word--there are even medical/psychiatric disorders with the name.

It's not like the poster threatened to fproot your tarball.

Too little too late from Hillary in this debate...heated discussions like this are what cause inexperienced candidates to ultimately stumble, or provide a campaign sinking sound byte. Too bad she waited this long to turn up the heat.

Obama remained on the defensive tonight, and prevented the pitfall of such a stumble...but he came dangerously close to that edge a few times.

Why it took Hillary so long to go on the offensive is beyond me, but at this point, her attacks are coming across as desperate...not to mention that she lacks the charisma to deliver those prepared one liners...her mocking Obama the other day, and now her reference to SNL...she doesn't have the skills to pull off such charismatic maneuvers.

Hillary didn't get the knock out punch she hoped for, and nothing happened tonight that will stop Obama's momentum...so that defines the debate as essentially a win for Obama.

evil? really?

Yeah, evil.

well, as long as you're not being histrionic. :p
Are you a walking fvcking dictionary?

If you don't know what a not uncommon word in the goddamn English language like "histrionic" means, you shouldn't be allowed to vote.

Glad to know you don't decide who votes or not. I honestly have never heard nor seen the word before. So keep your ignorant remarks to yourself.

If you are PROUD and ARROGANT about not knowing, you shoudn't be allowed to breath.

I wasn't being proud nor arrogant, but if you get some kind of satisfaction from saying things like that, you shouldn't be a moderator.

How's that for histrionic? :disgust:

Pathetic.

Still defiant and arrogant in your ignorance. You don't even know enough to ashamed of your abysmal basic ignorance. Yes, you are pathetic.

And, sport, take your opinions about the eight years I've been a mod and shove them.

No shit. But instead, the doctor had to defiantly strut his ignorance, like it was a good thing. :disgust:

Calm down. So he didn't know the meaning of a word. Big F'ing deal. Some people have larger vocabularies than others. Nothing for him to be ashamed of or for other people to attack him about.

I swear...

That he didn't know the word is NO BIG DEAL.

That he responded thusly: "Are you a walking fvcking dictionary?" indicates an all too common attitude of pride in ignorance that I, ahem, felt the need to comment on.

Call me a foot doctor if you must. Arch comments don't upset me. Defiant ignorance does.

^_^ So sorry. I know you were just being silly and it was too easy to pass up.

I'm not sure about the debate. I think hillary would do alright as president but--what worries me is that I don't think she'd be able to take the heat that the republicans ARE going to pour on nonstop if she were to get the nomination. Although maybe she would respond better to pressure from outside her party than from within (entirely possible imho). Still, Obama comes across as someone who would be able to lead the country in a level-headed manner--something we really REALLY need right now.

His comments about nader earlier this week kind of bothered me though. Nader was dead on with his comment on if the dems can't win this year they should just give up and quit.

Let me school you on your ignorance mr 8 year moderator. Loki at one other point used another phrase of words I had never heard of, I can't think of what it was atm but it was something having to do with equating everything to Hitler. So for your information, there is a history between him and I that you have no business in. Besides, how the hell you grab "pride of ignorance" is beyond me. Maybe, just maybe, you just showed your own ignorance.

Also didnt like her whining about the moderators asking her the questions first and not Obama

It's quite a valid point because all Obama does is "sponge up" others' ideas and re-present them as his own, via his fancy rhetoric. By always asking her the questions first, he gets even more opportunity to do this. If I had a dollar for every time, during every debate, that he has done this, I'd be rich.

"I agree with Hillary on this _________ ". Just fill in the blank.

What the 'l'???

What are you, a walking fvcking . . . wait! . . . there was a debate tonight?

Ahhhhhh, Hillary. So dedicated, so focused, so personally unlikable.

I'm not all that thrilled about Obama, though. He remains a bit of a cipher to me. A smooth command of oratorical generalities do not necessarily a president make.

I still wish, in some respects, that we had the English system. Barbara Bush would make a GREAT Queen Mother -- patrician, personally cold, massive, ugly. And shrub would be the perfect idiot Prince!

Traditional empire or no, we have the standing of a Great Power in the world. So, without conscious acknowlegement, our Presidents have to fulfill the dual role of King and Prime Minister.

Perhaps is we had a King (maybe an elected one, American Idol style?), we could then safely give the job of Uncle Daddy to a senile, feel good boob like Reagan, and let some non-charismatic but intelligent dweeb like Dukakis was have the working position of Prime Minister.

It's just a thought. :disgust:

So are you saying Obama ran the same campaign as hitlery but better? :p

Obama is still the lesser of 3 evils.

As noted by some of the commentators after the debate, many politicians would view getting the first question in a debate as an ADVANTAGE, since it lets you set the tone for the upcoming responses. Hillary was actually able to do that for the health care question as a result of being the first one to give a response.

Its certainly not as if Obama didn't answer plenty of the questions first in this debate and earlier ones. The debate moderator noted after the debate in an interview, that it was Hillary Clinton who actively choose to be the one to answer the new Prime Minister of Russia question first by the way. Hillary could have declined to volunteer and see if Obama got called instead if she really feels its so important for her to go second as often as possible.

"Private hissy fit grudge matches"? LOL

Again you show your ignorance. The last time Loki used the phrase of words I didn't know, all I did was link it. There was no "private hissy fit grudge match". So why do you keep digging your ignorance deeper? Just drop it already.

Now please mind yours.

I minded mine, but your lack of understanding to past events, coupled with an eagerness to spout crap has you delving into a conversation that didn't need a moderator. Do your job as a moderator and find someone else to bother for a REAL reason. :disgust:

You are very close to earning a vacation by calling out Perknose as a Mod. He's not posting as a Mod so there is no reason to bring up that he is one to criticize him.
