I disagree. People still don't understand. The CPU does not render the graphics in a game. CPU does other stuff, and any QUAD processor , you will not be bottlenecking grab a 460 1GB or AMD 5870 , Open up taskmanager and you will see games take 50 or 60 percent off your CPU. There is no bottleneck, I mean fine maybe it will add 3fps but ya QUAD and OC it put a 460 1GB as red is the devils color and enjoy. If you have 300 bucks + grabe a 570 or the AMD equal... gl
$800 US for AMD Based Rig
Bit I will extend it to $1000US if amd doesnt meet my standands. I want the most bang for buck I can get for $1000
Is there any major loss If I use AMD Bulldozer for only gaming?
1. Does it affect the FPS in games
2. Does it bottleneck the lastest graphics card.
3.Any other suggestion for a good processor if only using it for gaming and browsing?

.... so bulldozer is bad when using a 120hz monitor?
( pro tip, use SC2 )

Not sure what you want with your "pro tip". Blind faith in a failed product doesnt make it good.
Can we talk about relevant benchmarks please? Specifically those of games that weren't programmed by mentally handicapped developers? All 3 answers are here:

Skyrim had to be patched by the community several times to use more than 1.5gbs of RAM and 2 cores. All because Bethsoft forgot to update their 7 year old engine to meet modern day standards.Would Skyrim be one of such games programmed by mentally challenged?

"Pro tip" must be you dont need one with Dulldozer.

errrr.....my pro tip was exacly to show that bulldozer is bad... but using a relevant benchmark....LOL
skyrim just got SSE support at patch 1.4....so yeah, BAD example
It is using "50%" of your CPU due to the way task manager is calculating total CPU usage. If a game (starcraft II) is nearly entirely single-threaded, then it will max out a single core of the CPU. That will register as "25%" usage, but it will not matter that you have "75%" of your CPU free since the game is bottlenecked by single thread performance. Heck, if you have an eight core bulldozer, then you would be showing a "13%" CPU usage in task manager while being bottlenecked by single thread performance. In short, that is just not true. I am also confused why you are recommending the GTX 460, a card that is essentially EOL as the only current remnant of it are the 192-bit V2 models, and the 5870, a card that has been EOL for about a year.
