I'm going to assume you found someone on an online dating site but you're worried that she might be "Fat"?. Honestly, does it matter? If she weighs a little bit, who cares. IMO, 165lbs for 5'5" isn't fat. Chunky but not fat.

My wife is 5'4" and 125 lbs and I've had people here call her fat without ever seeing a picture of her...and she's not fat at all.

That's pretty chunky, man. That big ass and 34DD jugs are partly due to blubber. At 5'5", I wouldn't go for it unless she's under 130lbs.

And if you have to ask, the answer is usually yes.

Edit: For reference, I'm 6'0" and ~158lbs. So that's heavier than me at 7 inches shorter. And I'm not all skin and bones either. That's a chunker.

Well those people probably think size 0 models are the norm, because 125lbs is pretty tiny for 5'4".

Some women definitely carry weight better than others, though. I definitely wouldn't judge based solely on numbers, how they actually look is all that matters.

Just go out with the girl and go on from there. You'll either want to see her again or you won't want to see her again. What do you have too lose?

The fact that this question is even being asked shows how much culture has changed since I was young. By my standards there is no way a woman that was 5'5'' tall and 165 pounds could be considered anything but fat.

No it's not anyone through online dating, and yea she's black.

The men on here know nothing about females of color except they claim every single one of them is ugly as hell. I've dated countless black females, and I'd put money that she's not close to fat. She will be shapely and probably have thick thighs, but both of those are good things.

here's a Ester Baxter who's 5'7 about 150

she an inch taller and weighs 15# less, but there's no fat on her. If she was 165 she'd still not look fat.

she's at very least chunky most likely fat. But you guys are tiny, I'm 6' and about 220lbs and fit into a 34" waist jeans. I'm far from skinny but I don't think I'm fat either.

Maybe you are confused, during the Renaissance period woman on average were actually more on the heavy side, at least the ones that could afford food. You don't see paintings of skinny women from that period.
