is 28 too old to wear North Face?

i have never given this issue any thought. now that i have been asked to, i don't think i have made any progress

Uhm, that is kind of an odd thing to even bring up, it is not like it is covered in outrageous logos or golden dragons and such. I would say it is a perfectly acceptable adult clothing.

If you wear the NF vest when you wear your shorts and sandals to the mall to shop for that perfect scarf, then ya your too old to be wearing that shit.

If you wear the NF vest when going outside to go wrestle some woolly mammoths or other large rabid animals, then ya you've earned your right to wear it.

When somebody turns 24, a recessive 'cold receptor' gene doesn't suddenly come to life and then subsequently dictate wardrobe decisions.

This is the dumbest thread I may have ever seen. *blinks* Wow. But since I'm here, let me say that either you or your friend need to get his head on straight. Function, function, function. I used to live in the Adirondack Mountains and I would wear anything that kept me warm, dry, and alive when I was outside. Much of the NF line isn't made with real activity in mind. So I guess it depends on why you are wearing it. I'm going to stop rambling now (that'll teach me to stay up all night).

People are not being honest with you. Everybody should know that people shouldn't wear NF after their 28th birthday. I can't believe you ask such question, where is your sense of fashion!

I'm 40, and I wear a North Face jacket when I go to the snow.

I agree, stupid thread. OP's "friend" is an idiot.

dood your friend has clearly have not lived in the new england area. i would not have survived any boston winters without my northface 2 pieces. the apex bionic is clutch too. shit is expensive for a reason. everything else will fade, rip, look ugly after a season. northface goes strong and lasts a few of years of hard use and many washes. columbia stuff is okay, but clearly lower quality than northface. patagonia is top tier - better than northface - but not affordable for me. oh and i'm in my late 20s. there is no "too old" in the face of quality and functionality.
