We're talking about the single hard drive on Lerner's PC, where she stored her archived email. This has been covered extensively.
can you be anymore of a arrogant asshole?

What part of lost do you not understand? Let me get it through your, retarded or hack, brain.
If they had paper copies of those emails, surely almost a year is enough time to produce said copies. Barring that, the acting IRS commissioner has testified that the emails in question are lost...
Can you be any less mindful of contrarian information that's been covered repeatedly?
Or are you so accustomed to the usual propaganda methods of repeating the same things over and over that you demand them?
When do Repubs plan to force Lerner's testimony through immunity, anyway? They say they want the truth. That looks like the only way they might get it. Or has it ever been about that?
Apparently not.

I don't know. Can you maybe learn to read the most recent posts in the thread, or a news article, or maybe even watch a YouTube video before you interject dumb comments? It's not like that was some obscure detail. It is kind of the crux of this part of the story.[/B]

Sys Admins seem to have the habit of being condescending & insulting know-it-alls, I'll grant you that.
Ooooh! Deeper into denial. It's not about me.
It's not necessary to lie- just admit that you believe, then explain why. The last part needs to make sense.
Remember, never attribute to malice what can be accounted for by incompetence, equipment failure or lack of resources.
Go for it.
There's the asshat xBiffx we all know and mock. Bite me.
In order to interpret the answer to a question, one must know the context of the question. The IRS has already provided millions of printed pages including emails. Congressional Republicans decided that wasn't good enough and demanded a complete data dump of all of her files. The IRS tried to comply, but finally admitted that they could only provide (electronically) 67K of the emails requested. As I've pointed out again and again, however, to the best of my knowledge, nobody has yet requested this electronic dump be cross-matched with the millions of paper documents. Your claim the IRS hasn't provided paper copies is just one more example of your failure to separate fact from supposition and innuendo.
If only she gains immunity through such testimony, republicans should grab that. Now.
She isn't the real problem.
Exactly what am I in denial over? And what have I attributed to malice? If anything I've point out textbook examples of incompetence and trying to cover up/deny said incompetence.
If anything you, giving the reach around to the IRS with your smoke screen defense, are the one in denial.
So, is this about defective IT practices or about the allegations that they're really just part of a greater conspiracy to persecute Teatards?
Does the former support the latter, or not? If so, how, considering the timeline & the normal IRS procedure & personnel involved in dealing with a crashed drive?
There's sunshine, and there's pumping sunshine up the ol' skirt, radically different propositions.

As I stated in the first post I made in this thread. This is about the IRS breaking the law by not keeping with the standards setup in the Federal Records Act and their own policy.
Talk about lack of funds, talk about defective practices, talk about them investigating groups you disagree with all you want. The fact remains, the IRS broke several laws:
1. Inappropriate targeting/data collection of certain groups. We have sworn testimony and apologies that this was the case.
2. Divulging confidential information for said groups. Again, sworn testimony, apologies, as well as: http://dailysignal.com/2014/06/24/i...pay-50000-leaking-marriage-groups-tax-return/
3. Not following or simply ignoring federal records laws. Sworn testimony and evidence and lack of evidence as far as exonerating those in question.
I like how you can't even formulate a simple question without adding in partisan buffoonery.
And exactly none of that is of any concern to Issa. This investigation, which you seem to be completely unaware of, has been the brain child of a partisan buffoon. The buffoons contention is that the breaking of laws by the IRS comes from orders from the white house. So has that question been answered or has there been any info obtained linking the white house to the "targeting of tea party" groups?
The answer is no.
All of your other concerns, while I think they are important, are of little relevance to this "scandal".
Exactly where in the public record has it been stated that the purpose of the committee and Issa's motivation is to link this to the White House? If Issa did say that, he's a definitely a buffoon, but I've honestly not seen that. I'm not going to deny that this reason for this investigation isn't possible but treating the investigation as a farce and fruitless because you want to believe this is textbook partisan buffoonery. Or as another poster would put it "failure to separate fact from supposition and innuendo."
Not specifically saying you think this, I really don't know what you've said in the past umpteen pages, but there are some in here who seem to express this belief.
The House committee hearing on the IRS controversy tonight took a crazy detour when Chairman Darrell Issa briefly halted proceedings to lecture a Democrat on the committee during the questioning of IRS Commissioner John Koskinen.
It started when Republican Mike Turner got into a short, heated exchange with Koskinen, accusing the commissioner of lacking personal integrity because he won’t call the FBI to get involved in the investigation over the missing e-mails. But that was just the preface to the real fight, which kicked off when Democrat John Tierney tried to give Koskinen a break by taking a shot at the “disrespect” Republican members had been affording him.
Issa briefly suspended the hearing to lecture Tierney, saying, “I would caution all members not to characterize the intent or the character of your fellow members here on the dais.”
Tierney laughed and Koskinen jumped into say, “But it’s fair game to question the integrity of the witness?”
And then Democrat Steve Horsford jumped in, questioning whether Issa violated the committee rules. Issa repeatedly cut him off to make him say it as a point of order. Elijah Cummings said, “Just let him ask the question.” Issa fired back, “I will not.”
Finally, Tierney got to speak again and just left it up to anyone watching to decide just how credible the individuals conducting the hearing are.
Watch the full exchange below, via C-SPAN 2:
The investigation into the IRS scandal would be a lot more credible and generally believable to the American people if Repubs weren't the ones running it. Instead, we've got the most do-nothing Congress in recorded history showing not just how splintered they are, but also how little they can govern, displaying dysfunction and abject amateurism on committee rules, conduct and decorum:
