Iron Man 2: Disappointing *Some SPOILERS*

Finally I found that they didn't really leave anything for a 3rd Iron Man ,all the loose ends were tied except for anything that teased to other super heroes,

I'm not an Iron Man comic book reader, but doesn't he have other villians to fight? I thought I heard of one called Mandarin or something like that. And maybe a Titanium man or something.

I'm saying that any movie can be considered a pile of crap in a certain light.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind: they had their memories erased to forgot their relationship happened...and yet they want to try it again...which is of course going to work out wonderfully this time considering they have no idea what went wrong before. This is assuming you could actually get your memories erased as easily as going in for a botox shot

The Prestige: uh, two twins living their entire life as one person (with one wife)...and a machine that clones people but the original drowns every night, THAT'S realistic

Garden State: steaming pile of emo crap

Grumpy Old Men: since when is two old men bitching funny?

Tommy Boy: this is a movie that you think has an excellent plot...seriously?

Braveheart: takes a complete shit on history in search of a epic type action movie

Your stretching to twist stories into simplicity is supposed to do what exactly?

All you accomplished doing is spoiling 2 of the movies for those that haven't seen it.

They asked for better movies, and I provided them. They all involve plot, whereas Iron Man 1 was absolutely plotless. Just an excuse to show off special effects and battles. At least Spiderman 1 had a plot to go along with the action.

Did you actually see the movie? That was not the plot at all.

Tony Stark is a hi tech weapons manufacturer and was cock-sure about himself and his ability to design weapons to wipe out anything. He was captured after a weapons demo, and came to realize the very weapons he was making for the military were being used against them. He then saw himself as nothing more than a war monger, and decided to stop making weapons. This didn't go over well with his partner, who was the one getting rich by selling the weapons to the other side and manipulating Tony. Tony made the Iron Man suit to destroy enemy held weapons cahces, and his partner made a suit to sell to the highest bidder.

THAT was the plot, and it was a pretty damn good one.

My sentence described the plot fairly succinctly. If you thought the plot of the first one was good, I just have to laugh in your face. They are making another Robin Hood. I am sure you will see it and gush over the plot of yet another remake. Human race has become least common denominator.

I seeee....another case of "I'm right, the world is all wrong."

Anyone else here see Iron Man 2 yet? Anyone somewhat disappointed with it? I saw it last night at midnight and all I can say is that Im glad I didnt go with my other friends and pay $15 to see it in IMAX. The movie was longer than it needed to be, the first hour was just Tony Stark/Iron Man showboating, lots of "Im Iron Man, who loves me?" And it wasnt until the last half hour that you finally got some action. I also wasnt impressed with the CGI, there were parts in the movie where the Iron Man suit looked too fake.

Overall the movie was somewhat entertaining. What little action there was, was good and there was some good Robert Downey Jr. humor here and there. But it was too slow in the beginning and they wasted too much time with Iron Man showboating and trying to look cool that it took away from the action, hell the final battle with Mickey Rourke ended in ~60 seconds.

Definitely wasnt batter than the first, Im glad I only paid $7.75 to see it. Ill probably watch it again on Blu-Ray.

Sorry dude, assumed this meant you were going to buy the Blu-Ray.

I'm sure he has plenty of other villains to fight. Even Hammer at the end when Pepper gets him arrested said something like "I'll get you for this!" Usually if a bad guy doesn't die he'll be back.

Also... a titanium man? They made it clear in the first movie that the suit is a titanium-gold alloy, so it wouldn't be any new or different.

It's the exact same thing you did to the Iron Man 1 plot; butcher it.

The obvious retard is obvious.

You might as well have said "I remember when Forest Gump shot all those guys in the ass in Vietnam and took over china with his legion of jogging ping-pong players..."

in short; you're what we call 'developmentally delayed'.

Saw it this weekend, and enjoyed it. Not as good as the first one, but I didn't expect it to be.

One of the best part of the movie was seeing Thor's hammer.

i saw it this past weekend.

i enjoyed it a lot, although part 1 was better. i wish it had more action for sure, and i wish we saw more of mickey rourke's character, he was pretty badass.

it was actually really funny as well, i liked tony starks dialog throughout the whole movie.

and at the end when him and war machine exchanged words on the roof that was great. The head of Hammer was awesome too. his description of the EX wife was hilarious.

one gripe i had was when we first saw mickey rourke in his suit at the race, and he sliced the cars in pieces w/that whip. but then tony stark has a metal part of the car he is holding infront of him to block a swing of the whip, and it deflects the whip...

saw it yesterday. i enjoyed it a lot. wasn't disappointed at all.

i think there were some scenes in the previews that weren't shown in the movie though :hmm:

I saw it last week, and based upon all of the negative reviews I've read about it I was pleasantly surprised and actually really enjoyed it.
