Iron Man 2: Disappointing *Some SPOILERS*

The movie was entertaining but a let down compared to the first. It just seemed disjointed, lacking structure. So much random, meaningless dialogue.

And not enough Iron Man action. What, like 2-3 extended scenes?

And we never saw Scarlet naked! And there was no Scarlet + Gwyneth lesbian sex scene.

Overall, the movie fulfilled my expectations of a sequel. I love Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark, he is still the perfect fit for the character. I half expected some nod to Rhodey's new actor. The action sequences with Stark in full armor were good. I can't say that I cared a whole lot for him parading around with either no helmet or the mask up. I think I can understand the point they were making but it looked a little off.

I think I could live without seeing Gwyneth naked. Scarlett though, yummy.

I'll definitely watch it again and will be buying the Blu-ray when it comes out.

Crap another overlong fvcking action hero movie but I loved the first one and RT didn't much like this so I'll just download it.

Saw it today, pretty good, well worth seeing.

Not as action filled as the first one, but developed the characters pretty well. Bit disappointing in how quick Whiplash went down, both times really. And Hammer, what a tool. I mean aren't the bad guys supposed to be a bit threatening? The guys a complete dork and not too smart either. Not even a bit of 'plucky comic relief' from that Guy.

Gwyneth and Scarlett. Yummy.

Disappointing? Did you see Scarlett Johansson? That's probably the hottest she's ever looked in a movie!

I thought she was pretty smokin in 'The Island'. Her and Ewan MacGregor were the only things that made that movie tolerable.

I haven't seen the film, but let me guess the plot. tony invents something, some 1 steals it and makes it better and use it to kill him. Tony devises some clever plan to handle the situation and it works out magically. BORING

I would only watch the film for tony.

NO!

Tony's DAD invents something; dude, get it right or pay the price.

Wow, you were able to roughly deduce the plot of the sequel to one of the more popular and successful movies of our time and of which is based on a comic book written over 40 years ago. You must be some sort of villainous super-genious.

That being said, the movie was good. Not my favorite movie of all time, but I enjoyed it at least as much as the first one.

Thought the movie was good, not as good as Iron Man, but good nonetheless. I had no problem with the "lack" of action considering Tony Start had a lot of personal demons in the source material. I think if they had just slapped him in the suit and had him do some fighting it would have been a huge disappointment. If I wanted crap, schlock action I would watch Transformers. Since I have some scruples and don't want to see Iron Man ruined the way the Val Kilmer/George Clooney Batman and Sam Raimi SpiderMan movies ruined their characters by making them parodies of themselves, I enjoyed some character development.

The Dark Knight is probably the best comic/super hero movie ever but the Iron Man series so far is the best series. Batman Begins wasn't great, Superman Returns is just bad, the Edward Norton Hulk was good but he won't be coming back, Spider Man 2 and 3 were laughable at best, X-Men kept getting worse...

Probably the only one that may be as good or better than Iron Man as a series so far is Hellboy.

You'd be the only one saying that I think 😛 - Well, probably not.

It's at 75% on RT, and 80% on Flixter for user ratings---that means 3/4 critics liked it and 4/5 people that saw it liked it. I know ATOT likes to hate things, but as I've said time and time again, ATOT does not represent the general population. We consist of hard to please, self absorbed elitists, so it's hard to see any other point of view.

Thought it was good and worth the admission. Screw the elitists. Their attempt at hating everything out there is backfiring.

I saw it, liked it and thought it was great...

Not as good as the first, but still great, and one of the best Comic book movies easily...

I liked this a lot. Everyone kept saying it was worse than the first but I'd say it was just as good. I didn't much care for the first movie's antagonist or the way the fight ended, but it was solid all the way through.

This movie had an end fight sequence that was just to short, and the beginning needed at least one more action sequence interspersed into the long character development arc to fix the pacing. What is strange though is with the amount of characters that the movie still managed to remain pretty cohesive.

And SJ was super hot and totally bad-ass in the end sequence. That was actually my favorite action sequence in iron man and iron man wasn't even in it.

So what? You already gave them your money to see garbage. The first one sucked, why should this be better?

They are just printing money at you fools' expense...

this place sucks. im done with you morons.

The movie was good, I saw it at the midnight viewing. the atmosphere here is toxic I want nothing to do with it.

Wrong, care to try again?

Boring! I was constantly nodding off during that snooze-fest! Had watched The Lovely Bones the night before and that was much more captivating.
