I have one and its awesome. Very sturdy and secure. It's worthless for dips, though, despite their claims. But for pull-ups its great.
 
Scorch, try putting your feet up on something to do dips. I put them up on a 10" high case and the dips are much better.
 
I imagine that would help, but I still can't get the full range of motion for a dip. Maybe if I had both my feet and the device itself raised up I could lower myself even farther...
