Well this would make bringing the troops home easy if they toss us out.

I think we'd find a "reason" to remove the Iraqi government if they don't play by our rules and put in another that will.

I doubt it and under which president? By the time this comes around Bush will be on his farewell tour sipping cocktails as he flies Air Force 1 around the world. He wont care. So is Obama or McCain going to dethrown the current regime? I just dont see that happening. In fact if we get tossed out it is a great way to come home without having to debate if we lost. The fact they tossed us out proves we got them to a point they wanted. If they crumble from internal strife it is off our backs as they tossed us out.

It's funny how you think that getting tossed out is not losing.

That is one of the most wacky things I've ever heard.

Tell us why you wish to continue to occupy Iraq?

WMD? WMD programs? The potential of WMD programs? Democrativity? Freedomosity? Fight 'em over there so we don't have to fight 'em over here?

Or do we want to interfere and manipulate a sovereign nation that overwhelmingly does not want us there.

mmmm .... now why would we want to do that?

And there we have the real reason for Iraq invasion. It wasn't for WMDs, it wasn't for the freedom (when it ever was?), wasn't for oil either (although it doesn't hurt). It was to establish permanent military presence in the middle east from which United States can operate should it ever need to. With American military forces stationed pretty much in every corner of the world that mattered this was the only place left.

This could get ugly if Iraqi won't back down.
