To those that think Iran will listen to European style rhetoric - look towards North Korea. Clinton learned this lesson. He spent eight years working things out with them. Giving in whenever there was a new 'crisi'. He gave them food, money, coal, AND A NUCLEAR POWER PLANT.

I am all for trying to talk through problems, but we have already been at it for almost five years with Iran. They have already come out and said that it really does not matter what the world thinks, or what they promise - they plan on continuing. The problem is, the Euro-elites just want a promise so they can go home and drink to their victory. All the time being side-stepped and mocked by the Mullah's.

If anything, the US should do what Euope did to us. We should pour money into Iran, hold protests against Europe and for the Mullahs, and give them the necessary technology to fight. We can then urge Iran to attack Europe and give the reassuarnce of our 'hidden' support. We can make fun of the blundering leaders as they try to protect their cities. We can bitch about how closed European society is, and how stupid the people that live there are. While all of this is happening, we can veto everything in the UN that applies to sanctions or action against Iran.

It would be great. We would be hailed as the new France.

You know whats funny. When North Korea kicks inspectors out of its country, takes american ones on a tour to prove they have nuclear bombs. And then admits it has them. America says they don't have them.

But when Iran lets the IAEA into every hole and corner of its country, and inspectors find no proof of a nuclear arms program. And Iran even suspends enrichment for them. And Iran denies having a nuclear arms program. They claim it does.

I guess that when America sets its sights on you, it sets its sightsd on you.

Iran should say it has nukes like north korea. Then the US will say they don't have them 😉 If Saddam only said he had WMD's we would be saying he didn't.

A few points here, mainly aimed at our resident Iranian nationalist, Aimster.

1. Who have the Persians attacked in the last 3,000 years?

Are you forgetting your big neighbor, India? Punjab and much of North India was under Persian rule for a long time. I'm sure there has been many battles between the civilizations since they are both very old, but your statement is blatantly false. Persian rulers were known to be horribly violent, and vain with women. They fought many wars over native North Indian women and stole thousands of them. Just read up on Prithviraj Chauhan on google. Large parts of China and all the 'stan' countries were invaded as well. They have also indirectly attacked America by funding terrorism.

2. Iranians being friendly.

From my experience most Iranians are xenophobic and VERY rude. They treat their women like dirt and do not like outsiders. Arabs and Indians are in general much more hospitable. The mullahs certainly seem like they have a constant stick up their ass.

3. Iran should have nuclear bomb.

They certainly have the right to obtain one, but it wouldn't be good for the West at all.

I don't understand how there are so many people here ragging on the neo-cons, your countrymen and supporting the Iranians vehemently. Just because you don't like Bush does not mean you take EVERYTHING out on him and his disciples. Iranians have not shown much good will to most of the world in the past 50 years and although some of this was the Americans fault they need to start taking responsibility and stop pointing fingers at the US and Israel.

Directly attacked America? America directly attacked Iran first then by funding Iraq. Iran never funded Al Qaeda. They funded Hezbollah and there is no hard evidence that they were directly behind the attacks in Saudi Arabia. Pure speculation which Hezbollah has denied. The common thread for terrorist groups is to brag about what they did. If there were any Iranian links it was probably MEK/MOK which is the same group that took U.S hostages in Iran. A group that is banned from Iran.

2) ? I don't know where you got that information from. Three of my cousins married white guys and nobody in the family has a problem with it. I think you are confusing Iranian culture with the Afghan culture. Iranian men usually don't date Iranian women and they don't care who they are with. Iran women control Iran men. The men apparently lose their left nut when they get married.

How would you know how an Iranian/Arab/Indian man treats his woman? Did you setup spy cameras in their home?

3) Iran has chemical weapons. They have had it for years. They haven't used it or given it to anyone. If they are to attack the West with those weapons when they have the chance they would have done so already.

I don't care who has nuclear weapons. Governments fall. People change. Nuclear weapons are a threat and no nation should have them. However, nations have them and that means every nation has a right to have nuclear weapons.

Iran wants open relations with the U.S The U.S doesn't want anything to do with Iran. What do you want Iran to say? If you try to shake someone's hand and they refuse are you going to talk nicely about that person?
Israel throws attacks at Iran and Iran throws attacks back at Israel. It is not Iran pointing fingers at Israel and Israel sitting there with their mouth shut. All nations talk and point fingers. It is easier to blame someone who hates you.

Total Price: 8.8 Billion EUROs
- Less than 5% of the GDP.

What do they export? Machinery, Power Tools, Etc.

EU is not going to put total sanctions on Iran. Germany/France which account for almost 50%+ of the EU trade need to money.

Ummm.. ok. 😕 A large chunk of Iran's trade is European related.

Not at all. Why would they sanction the unofficial 26th EU state?

You know whats funny. When North Korea kicks inspectors out of its country, takes american ones on a tour to prove they have nuclear bombs. And then admits it has them. America says they don't have them.

What??? It has been well known for almost a decade that North Korea had at least atomic weapons. Most likely a few nukes. I can't recall any recent administration that has come out and said that they DO NOT have them. There may have been questions, but the assumption has always been that they do.

But when Iran lets the IAEA into every hole and corner of its country, and inspectors find no proof of a nuclear arms program. And Iran even suspends enrichment for them. And Iran denies having a nuclear arms program. They claim it does.

Must have forgotten the IAEAs recent major failures.

Missed that Libya was developing nukes. Missed Egypt. Missed and bungled the entire Pakistan nuke race - as well as the selling of technologies to North Korea and Iran (among others).

What else does the IAEA have to do to prove that they cannot do their jobs.

Not to mention, Iran has out and out lied through the entire dialog with Europe.

1) Let me guess you are an ardent nationalistic believing in a lost cause? LOL I don't take my history from fictional movies. I have extensively studied Indo-Iranian history. Languages, attitudes etc. I hate getting in discussions with Iranians. They always say "Iran is the best, Iran this, Iran that". They will never admit that the culture they have now was imposed by Arab invaders and the only true Iranians left from their ancient culture are now living in India as Parsi's. Islamicized Iran is a completely different nation than Zorostrian Persia, but the modern Iranians who are a mix of Mongols/Arabs/Persians for the most part are quick to take credit for it.

2) Yea I'm sure your cousins married white guys. Big deal? That does not make one un-racist. There are many races in this world. The fact remains that Iranians in general are quite racist. Ever seen that movie with Sally Field when the Iranian man steals her and her baby and takes her back to Iran? That was based on a true story and happened to a large amount of women who married Iranian men. There are also news articles about women being stoned for adultery or hits being put out on them.

3) I have traveled extensively in the M.E. and South Asia and Indian women have very high positions of power compared to Iranian women. I mean look at Indira Gandhi, the ex-PRIME MINISTER. In Iran people constantly looked suspicously at us and it seemed very cold. There was none of the warmth that I saw in Europe or India. It reminded me of my visit to China.

4) I don't know if we should open trade with Iran unless they wisen up a bit. I don't think we should attack them by any means, but I think trade should be opened up with countries with better rights records like Cuba.

If you are talking about the Khobar Towers bombing then I have to disagree with you there. Ex director of the FBI Louis Freeh has uncovered plenty of evidence that Iran Funded and ordered Hizbollah to carry out that attack.

Only one country has USED the nukes, maybe you can help me with that one, i know you know😉

Countries use it defensively. A deterant if you will. Why does israel need nukes?, it's all trivial.
Fact is, they have no intention of using nukes.

Well, we had to test them on something.

An Iranian friend told me in 1976 that they had nukes. I reminded him that they crashed several F-4's trying to rebuild brakes for them before they gave up. I still don't see enough fresh, highly radioactive valleys in Iran for them to have usable nukes.

You went to Tehran? Maybe you are ugly and you look funny? Maybe you suffer from a psychological disorder "Omg people are looking at me"! So why did you go to Iran? What part?

A movie? Let me make a movie about some the white people on the t.v show Cops and label it "Whites in America". No wait, let me make a movie about the mother who drowned her own children and label it "Whites". You have issues with judging people.

You talk with a close-mind. Open up your mind.

I don't care where you are from. If you want to be one of those idiots in that circle of Iran/Arab/Indians who hate go ahead. Those are the uneducated ones. They think the other one is better than the other. They think it is some kind of competition and that they must be the ones to be the best. If you want to live your life like that then go ahead.

How do you know if the story was fake or not? I mean you're not exactly a bastion of credibility when it comes to stories.

Iran is perfect, all hail Iran. Iran is the best country in the world.

It has a right to have nukes, it has a right to wipe Israel out. It has a right to sponsor and kill US servicemen.

Iran is great. Iran rules

Mind your own business?
Why don't you post somthing educational for once? How do you discuss P&N outside in the real world? You never post anything educational or any facts. 90% of your post in P&N are quotes from other people where they give you the "food" to feed off a conversation. Too bad you don't bring any salt and pepper to the table.

-Your profile for example.

I'm not here to educate you, Aimster. I feel that should have been the responsibility of your parents and school system. Too bad that it was a miserable failure.

I do post facts, but you elect to ignore them (like how much of Iran was under poverty). You post lies, useless and irrelevant information, and hilarious stories such as the FBI hunting you down.

So are you going to answer the question or ignore it? Or are you going to post more hilariously hypocritical statements like you did last time?
