He said nothing about killing Jews.
Unlawful or not, the damned country is there now, and it's not just a row in some database that we can delete. The Israelis are serious about being there to stay. Even if the combined military might of the ENTIRE United Nations showed up in Israel tommorrow morning to repossess that chunk of dirt, you can bet DAMN WELL that the IDF, and Israelis in general would fight to the last man, no matter how unwinnable their situation.
Someone who doesnt know the entire speech:
"We the people of Iran ask Muslims, Jews and Christians to join together to end this Zionist regime. Israel needs to be wiped off the map and I stand here today asking the Jews in Israel to stand up with us and end the zionist. We are here with you" -.. It was something like that..
So does that sound like he wants Jews dead?

Sounds an awful lot like Adolf Hitler circa 1930's Germany doesn't it?
And if people continue to bury their heads in the sand history may well repeat itself.
Wiping Israel off the map doesn't mean killing Jews.
It also does not mean killing civilians inside Israel.
In that same speech, he was talking about zionist and how the people of Israel need to rise up against it. He said Muslims Jews and Christians need to come together to fight Zionism.
He is basically against any kind of Jewish state in the M.E. Because Israel is just that, a religious state.
Israel has stated the regime of Iran as barbaric and better off not existing, Iran's President said the same thing in his own wording. Yet, the media makes it appear as if he is anti-Jew.
If he was anti-Jew, the Jews in Iran would be squashed
Why would he call for Jews to stand up against the Zionist regime if he wanted them dead?
The common thread in his speeches are a calling out of the Zionist regime in Israel and the Bush administration in the US. He's talking out against the people in power, not talking about mass genocide.

Meaning he doesn't believe in a Jewish state in control of Palestinian territory (he believes it should all be called Palestine). Israel was created as a result of WWII.
Just like Israel does not believe in an Islamic state for Iran.
Now Im not agreeing with him. Israel is done with.
However, it is a very legit debate to say that the creation of Israel was probably not in the best interest of the region.
But like I said, Israel is established and that debate should have been made back when Israel was created.
