Iran Invading Northern Iraq

Seems like some leaflets were tossed out of a helicopter. Not much more than, from the information given, seems reasonable to assume. Well, some folk seem to have left their homes. But their proximity to the situation could exclude their being irrational. We can't make that excuse.

so we can just wait 48 hours and see what happens... Chances are that this alleged activity was more of a psyop than anything else.

I think we should drop pamplets in Iran. "Your government is rich and malevolent, and keeps you in poverty and unemployment."

Iran's govt. is not rich and everyone knows this.

I'd wait and see. I honestly dont believe the Iranians would have the compassion to let them leave. I also dont believe the Iranians are so stupid as to alert the US military of their intentions so we can be waiting for them.

I agree, without an official author, anyone with a helicopter could have written and distributed the pamplets. By we should also realize that the USA is rumored to be funding Kurdish terrorist to raid Iran from bases inside of the Kurdish regions of Iraq. With Turkish troops also massed nearby.

Who knows what is behind what amounts to non-violence and littering on a massive scale.

I think Iran should drop pamplets in the USA saying your government is propped up by debt,
GWB&co., is stupid, and you need regime change.

But thats the platform even the GOP will run on in 08.

Oh the hypocrisy is thick with some of you lot isn't it? You totally support the idea of going into Pakistan with or without Mushareef's permission to take out Al Queda "since Pakistan isn't doing anything about it", but if Iran wants to take out a group in Iraq that Iraqis cannot control who are in conflict with Iran, suddenly it's an invasion?

Drop the double speak.

I'm pretty sure, laughing at your own jokes (that aren't even clever) on the internet is one of the 10 unspoken signs of mental retardation.

Does it strike anybody else as foolish to drop leaflets warning of your attack?

Seems designed to ensure that they just sneak away.

Seems a better use of such flyers/leaflets is to get residents to leave their homes so you can rob/burgler them more easily.

I'm not usually one for conspiracy theories, but given the Bushwhackos' consistant history of lies and deception, how do we know it isn't another neocon scam on the American people to set up an excuse for attacking Iran?

The image that popped into my head was a group of salivating foaming at the mouth warmongers clawing and growling. Oh dear..

I had the same thought, Harvey.

Analogies don't apply to America. We're right. They're wrong. If they want to argue, we can fight over it, and see who's right when their country lies in ruin and a couple oil tankers lay at the bottom of the Gulf.

Ugh, and there are actually people who think this way, too.

Disgusting pigs.

Might makes right. The strong survive. That's the world we live in. Justice, law or peace hold no power without being backed with violence. That's why cops walk around with a belt full of weapons.

Nothing means squat without the force to back it up.

Actually, Moonbeam gave props to Nebor's honesty and he is honest 🙂 Part of what he says is correct on some levels even if we don't want to admit it.

It's still not getting anybody any good karma, though.
