I want to be a Oscar mier weiner, because everyone loves to eat me. Maybe the better story of our US military grunts. Its not our reason to wonder why if this country is right or wrong, whoopie we are going to die.

The Army Values:
Loyalty
Duty
Respect
Selfless Service
Honor
Integrity
Personal Courage

Do you understand any of those things? Because mocking the sacrifice of those that have died makes it seem unlikely that you do.

SecDef speech had the full numbers of US deaths and injured.

No real mention was made of the sacrifice of the Iraqi people.

Still 5K "combat" troops to pull out over the next two weeks, leaving "non-combat" troops in play. Much more than other ME embassies 🙁

The U.S. Air Force has a message for Iran: Don't mess with our drones.
In what only can be described as a scene out of Tom Cruise's "Top Gun," Gen. Mark A. Welsh III, Air Force chief of staff, describes how F-22 stealth jets scared off Iranian jets from a U.S. drone flying in international airspace.
The Aviationist reports that in March a U.S. MQ-1 drone came close to being intercepted by an Iranian F-4 Phantom combat plane, but the Iranian aircraft stopped short after a warning by an American pilot.
"He [the Raptor pilot] flew under their aircraft [the F-4s] to check out their weapons load without them knowing that he was there, and then pulled up on their left wing and then called them and said 'you really ought to go home,'"
Gen. Welsh said.
According to The Aviationist, the Iranians came within 16 miles of the drone.

F-4 Phantoms? Really?? In this day and age???

Good job. This thread is almost 2 years old.
So I should have created a whole new thread just to give this "small" news? 🙄

If mods think me bumping this thread is inappropriate, then they're free to spin-off my post and it's responses into a completely new thread and lock this old one then.
