What driver version are you using? I'm getting 22 FPS (FRAPS) @ 19x12 with the computer in my sig.
my monitor is native 1080p, I lowered the resolution of the demo, because I read the requirements are high. (gtx 670). Latest drivers

Getting 23/24 fps according to Fraps on system in my sig. At native res. Runs pretty smooth, no glitches as far as I could tell.

Ok, then it's not 1280p (which I though was a strange vertical dimension anyway) :)

Maybe you mean't 1280x1024?

I call this garbage, looking at the polycount, it should fly even on a low end GT630. Im sorry NV but your tech sucks.

1280x720 amigo. Sorry for not being clearer. I ran other settings as well. The detail is very fine. You can zoom in on the eyes or any part of the head. It's a cool tech demo.

Why don't you guys just all run it at some common resolution/settings? 1080p?

It would be more interesting I'd think....At least we'd get an idea of how many $'s it takes per fps.

23-24fps @ 1080p. Probably a solid 24fps if I weren't scaling. Duh, found the config utility - 38 FPS @ 800x600, still too slow for a top end consumer card.
This will be impressive tech for some games by the time Maxwell gets here (one with creature interaction like Skyrim, etc.).

I already own one thanks. And btw, all this words dont make this tech demo more than garbage, its my opinion as a game developer, sorry.

What studio do you work for, what position do you have, what titles have you worked on or are you working on currently?

BTW: This isn't any newfangled tech here...it's just a software demo. It's not meant to show off any particular piece of hardware.

Is SLI working in this demo? I seem to only be hitting one card.

It's a tech demo. Like most of Nvidia's tech demos, they aren't practical till the next process node. Plus, what size will the character's heads be? Maybe < 4K pixels on the screen. This is useless, IMO for a FPS, but might become useful for RPG and MMORPGs in a couple of years (and some other game types). This give NV another couple of years to refine the tech. But like allot of tech, it may only be in TWIWMTBP titles (where an NV engineer does the heavy lifting).

Would be interested in a more comprehensive response from you, as you are an insider.
