iPhone pixel issues

I have had my iphone for almost a month now and love it, but have already had it replaced by apple for two stuck pixels... now my replacement has a stuck pixel (I think it's stuck because I can only see it on a black background, but it could very well be dead).

If I go and get the iPhone replaced again, should I expect the new phone to have a pixel issue as well? Should I just give up on trying to get an iPhone with a perfect screen?

Thanks.

Has the whole phone, or just the screen been replaced?

If just the screen, then I say try it again since Apple will replace the whole device after 3 replacements for the same reason.

If the whole device... then third times a charm?

The guy I took it to today would not replace it because it only had one dead pixel. I've had it a week!!! (I noticed the dead pixel the next day after receiving it)

This is really getting to me.

The guy you took it to?

Does this guy work for the Apple Store, or AT&T?

Let us know if you went to an Apple store or an AT&T store. I've had really good luck getting things exchanged at the Apple store. My first iPhone developed those hairline scratches and when I brought it in I had a new phone in under a half hour.

go back and demand that you get a new one or you will return it. are you still under a month? i wouldn't tolerate a dead pixel on the iphone. it's too small of a screen and you paid a premium for it. that's like taking a dead pixel on one of the apple cinema lcd monitors - it would be unheard of.

Yes I am under a month. I got the original phone Feb 27th. My replacement phone was given to me 9 days ago.

Thats really too bad. Apple has web so hood to me in the past I hate to see someone not having the same experience. It's lucky you are within the 30 days though. Demanding your money back generally goes a long ways toward getting what you want. I hope it works out for you!
