It's called Sparrow, and it's available now in the App Store for $2.99.

The catch is... due to recent fiascos about the privacy issues, this email client does not support Push Notifications at the moment. The other catch is... you can only attach photos for now. But at least you won't have to go into the Photo Library to attach things before composing an email anymore, so this is pretty neat stuff. I am sure quite a number of people are looking for a way to properly do this like with all other desktop (and Android) email clients.

Overall, I think it's worth noting because Apple allowed it. Looks like App Store policies are relaxing to allow more quality apps in that could enhance the default ones. A welcome direction indeed!
