OK, I have to admit that the combination of the fingerprint reader with Apple Pay is slick. At least if someone steals your phone they can't go buy a bunch of stuff with it.

Tim Cook has just demonstrated what I've been doing with my RFID credit cards for many years now.

This only seems like a bigger deal in the US I'm guessing, just because the US has been many years behind the rest of the world in adopting this technology.

I like the idea of them using one time numbers for payment as well. That way, stores can't lose your data to breaches. Thanks Target!

TouchID makes it better than anything Europe has right now (for payment convenience and market penetration)

We're almost at an hour. Stop with the iPhone already. Get to the good stuff!

OR

I guess we won't see an iPad or 12" MacBook today.

Maybe it's good TouchID is included, but in terms of ease of use, no.

Either way, this is a meh feature outside of the US.

Ummm, I don't think they've ever done macbook/ipad stuff at this event Eug. They do that in October.

I know, but that's all I'm really interested in. 😛 That and Retina iMac.

The iPhone we knew all about, and I have zero interest in a watch.

And I'm also pretty sure the iPhone will get saddled with 1 GB RAM too.

Yeah, it's a bit of a shame that we already knew of all of this ... these events are not as fun as they used to be 🙁. Everything gets leaked months before.

LOL @ "We invented new intimate ways to communicate with your wrist."

I'm pretty sure the iCloud hacks already did that. 😀

Let's see...

Everyone's gonna want the iPhone 6+ (and yes, I know a bunch of people are about to jump down my throat saying it's too big, but I predict it will be the better seller) and people are going to want 64gb to handle the higher res. pics and video...

Apple effectively just took the price of the iPhone from $199 to $399.

128GB 5.5" iPhone 6+... I am tempted!! I had to start being a bit miserly with my apps on my 64GB phone, and it gets worse as I add more and more music (I'm one of those people that hates only having a few songs from an album regardless of whether I listen to them all).

Not sure what I think about the Apple Watch. I kind of prefer the look of the Moto 360's round face, but the Moto 360 was a bit half-arsed in regard to battery life... so it has its own problems.
