Been waiting to actually play with one before buying the wife a new phone. Ended up getting her a Galaxy S20+ instead. The iPhone 12 Pro felt thick due to the new (old) design. It did feel solid otherwise. I played with it for a while, I almost think I'd like the max version when it comes out. She just didn't feel like learning a new OS and the Samsung was $500 at Best Buy.

What's wrong with Lightning? It's reversible, like USB-C, and doesn't have the issues USB-C cables have with varying standards that can end up frying your phone. Lightning is correctly designed to break without damaging the more expensive device.OT, but... Damn Apple. Just watched an MKBHD and IP12 still uses lightning connectors!
This is probably my future phone once it gets knocked down a generation or so
Pre-ordered from Verizon. only because My iPhone X is starting to glitch and not recognize input touches. Verizon gave me $440.00 toward the purchase since my account shows I'm elligible for an upgrade. IMO if you have anything less than an iPhone 8 the upgrade is worth doing. I bought the 12 Pro.
Obvious wumao is obvious.I don't chase iPhones and I can say that I'm happy with my Xiaomi.
You sound excited. My work iphone 12 came in and its really no different in use from a 7, 8, or xr. Its an iphone. yay. same sh!t, different package.
LTE or 5G? 5G sucks so for all round from what I've read.I’m sitting on an 8+ with a new battery. Not a fan of face ID and now folks are reporting serious signal loss on the 12...
Wow, really? I like my wife's XR a lot better than my 7. Though, a part of that is the screen size.My work iphone 12 came in and its really no different in use from a 7, 8, or xr. Its an iphone. yay. same sh!t, different package.
I'm an iPhone user but... Was the Galaxy S9 wildly different to use from the S8, S10, or S20? Same with successive LG phones, or Pixels 1 through 5? From my perspective a largely consistent interaction model (ex. Windows 10 is not _that_ different to use compared to Windows 7 if you're in desktop mode) is a good thing, especially for folks who don't upgrade every year.My work iphone 12 came in and its really no different in use from a 7, 8, or xr.
