I really do prefer 3:4 over 9:16 for web browsing on a tablet...but my Touchpad is practically unusable due to sluggish responsiveness. I can't wait to get the iPad mini (will be my first iPad).
 
So, I picked up a 16GB Black for my mom earlier. I found it kind of interesting that Best Buy didn't seem to have any white ones at all. I'm also a bit surprised that Apple only has a Smart Cover available for it right now. I'd prefer to get a Smart Case for my mom to use.
 
My local Best Buy had the white one on display for customers to use on launch day. The next day, they were using a black one. Strange.

Retailers around here never got the Smart Cover and I had to mail-order mine from Apple.
