So are there any good magnetic "Smart Covers" with the rear case for the iPad3 that anyone can recommend yet? Any on eBay yet someone can recommend or somewhere else?

Check out a company called SGP / Spigen and another one called BoxWave.

These two companies usually have pretty nice cases.

Haha, yes! I used my laptop in the winter to warm me up before. As for the iPad getting warmer, I haven't felt it burning me yet.

FYI: Icemonkey.com is selling this faux-leather smart cover for $5 shipped. It works fine on my iPad3, auto-turns on/off, everything. Unfortunately they only have red left but well worth $5. It's "Casecrown" brand.
