iOS 6.1.2 breaks my phone

Instlaled 6.1.2 and the iTunes update a while ago and now I can't backup because "the phone disconnected." I can sync, but I can't backup. Is there some way to fix this without a complete restore, which I can't do because I don't have a backup?

It's not a bug I'm familiar with. I think a restore is what you need. You can go into the iCloud backup settings ant turn off backups for individual apps. You can do this to avoid backing up apps with files that take up a huge amount of space.

This is why I don't like Apple. You know, I am still using iOS 5, while I heard too many problems from other users by upgrading iOS or installing programs. I think I will choose Samsung or HTC next year.

can you back up using iTunes connected via USB, or was that what you are trying?

try another cable, try another port, try disconnecting other USB devices - is it plugged into a hub? you rebooted your computer, right?

It doesn't work on USB or Wifi with any computer. It's definitely the phone.
