Invalid Access Key?

After reading all the great reviews on GuildWars, being a fan of RPGs and PvP action, I picked it up today.. Thing is when I try to register my account it says I have an invalid access key. How is that possible? I double and triple checked, I didnt make a typo 🙁 Back to Walmart... hopefully they'll take an exchange.

could it be that someone opened the box before you bought it and copied down the serial for their own personal use?

Not possible, the box is sealed, the inner box is shrinkwrapped, as is the cd case inside the inner box. You have to scratch off some silver stuff (similar to a scratch and win lotto ticket) on the inside of the cd case to reveal the access key.

Great... I think she forgot to give me the receipt. I sure hope not or I'll be one ticked off customer. :|

Oh this is nice...

So because some asshat stole my number, it's going to cost me $10.00 on top of what I paid for the game? :disgust:

Call them and argue. You probably won't get anywhere, but at least you'll know firsthand NEVER to buy another EA game.
