Internet Speed VS. Price

Once Verizion gets FIOS here, it's going to be 15000/2000 for $50 a month. Until then, OOL is 10000/12000~ for $50 a month.

Uhh I don't know how much my dad pays a month. We have cox. I'm guessing around $40-$50/month?

Well, bandwidth here is about six times for expensive than tier-1 bandwidth in the midwest. I have a bridged 512/512kbps ADSL connection with two /29 subnets of IPs. I pay $82.95 a month.

Your download speed : 9034750 bps, or 8822 kbps.
A 1102.8 KB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 480998 bps, or 469 kbps.

I pay 35 a month.

Alltel dialup for college students. Of course, I'm not a college student anymore (haven't been for just over a year). But I'm not about to tell Alltel.

56k. $0 a month if use less than 20 hours ($6.50 if I use more than 20 hours). Since I do virtually all of my internet use at other locations, I rarely pay a penny.

$0 makes my price per speed ratio lower yours. 😉

Who is your ISP, and do you have unlimited bandwidth, or a quota?
Need to change service really

Your upload numbers are wrong for OOL.
OOL is 1 Mb up.
