Internet Explorer is slow.

Maybe something that you installed or uninstalled, or some setting gets changed, that makes it do it again.

I never did figure out why mine started to do that. I had not formatted for like 2 years until it started doing that. It never affected my brothers profile either, just admin.

Agreed, i'm a huge opera fan!
especially the mouse gestures...
i always have too many problems with MS products, and if i look at the process that IE spaws, its mem usage goes nuts a lot of times

sometimes HOT FIXES can cause slow downs. If you have time and effort, i'd ghost the partition and let loose.
 
for XP and 2k, you have SP and inbetween they have patches (hotfixes) to fix flaws and other problems. Sometimes these patches/hotfixes can cause slowdowns and the such.
 
Yeah it was IE causing the problem. The heck with it I am currently using firebird and it seem to be faster that IE and looks about the same. Thanks for the recommendations.

BTW is firebird fine that way it is or is there some stuff I should disable?
